Current Faves | Hair Essentials

Hi there friends, today I’ll be sharing a few of my current must have hair products and tools. Some I’ve used for a long time but some I’ve just recently discovered (about 1-2 years). I wouldn’t say it’s a must have if I haven’t at least had it for more than 5 years or bought it more than 3 times.

MG217 Psoriasis Medicated Conditioning 3% Coal Tar Formula Shampoo

I discovered this shampoo by doing tons and tons of research on Amazon! Yes people, I’m the kind to read through tons of reviews. That is also why I like sharing my personal reviews on products. I NEED to use a special shampoo to help control my psoriasis flare ups. I’ve previously written about MG217 in my psoriasis post that you can read here. So I’m won’t get into detail but this product although pricey has been working for me and I recommend it to anyone that suffers from scalp psoriasis to try it.

LIVING PROOF: Perfect hair Day (PhD) Night Cap Overnight Perfector

Expensive but so worth it! I cannot rave more about this hair product. Honestly, I got it for the recovery part but it’s so much more than that. It makes your hair feel soft, healthy and it smells so good! I’m venturing and trying other living proof products so we’ll see how it goes which those.

Nano Titanium Ionic Straightening Iron
I’ve been using a hair straighter since the 8th grade. I’ve definitely limit the amount I use it to twice a week touch- ups and once a week full hair straightening. The better I got at straightening and blow drying my hair, the less I had to iron my hair. LESS DAMAGE FTW. This one does a great job at warming up and doesn’t leave the gross burned smell in the air NOR you hair.

Beyond The Zone Turn Up The Heat Protection Spray

If you use heat on you hair often, you need this! I’ve tried cream heat and spray protectors  but I feel this one does my thick and frizzy hair some justice! Im always down to try something new in the department however I’ve been using this brand for 2 years. The only down side to it is that when you spray it the oily product ends up everywhere + your hair but I usually just use a towel to wipe it of the sink top.

Turbie Twist Microfiber Hair Towel

Whether it’s to dry my hair or to keep my hair from getting wet, I got to these hair towels! They are very effective and absorb water from hair very well. I’ve had these for years. I bought them to try something new and now they’re a staple in my hair care routine.

Let me know which are YOUR must have hair products. I would love to know!!!
